The Curve Appeal Pilates Studio is located in a cozy brownstone. The setting is private and quiet. You no longer have to join a gym or take a large group class without personal attention to get the benefits from this form of exercise. Our group classes are no more than six people, and cater to the clients' specific needs. Classes can be geared toware pre and post-natal clients, golfers, incontinence issues, and tennis conditioning.
Beginner Pilates:
This class focuses on teaching the basics of Pilates from philosophy, to breathing and core principles of the method. This is ideal for the novice Pilates student.
Intermediate Pilates:
Once you have mastered the basics, you can move on to this group class which focuses on more advanced exercises.
Cardio/Pilates Circuit:
This class alternates a cardiovascular conditioning through low-impact aerobics and step aerobics with Pilates conditioning. It's ideal for people who want to enjoy a cardiovascular workout while still reaping the benefits of Pilates.
Teen Pilates:
This class targets the teenager who needs to get fit. We teach teens the importance of maintaining a healthy, flexible and strong body.
Kids Pilates:
This class is ideal for kids to work on their motor skills, flexibility to avoid injury, and core strength. The class revolves around having fun, getting fit and is carefully monitored.
